You only need to verify your age with us once. Once your account is verified, you will not be asked to do so for future orders.

In the UK, it is illegal to purchase vaping products if you are under the age of 18. As a responsible retailer, Vapes4L is required by law to verify the age of every customer before a sale can be completed.

Why do you need to verify my age?

We understand that sharing personal information can feel intrusive. However, these laws are in place to protect minors and are strictly enforced by the following bodies:

• Department of Health & Social Care: As of 1 October 2015, it is illegal for adults to buy (or attempt to buy) e-cigarettes or tobacco products for anyone under the age of 18.

• Trading Standards: Online retailers are legally responsible for ensuring that age-restricted products are not sold to anyone below the minimum legal age.

How do we verify your age?

To ensure a secure and accurate process, we use 1account, an industry-recognised third-party verification system.

The system cross-references the details you provide against reliable data sources to confirm you are 18 or over. These checks may include:

• The UK Electoral Roll

• The UK Birth Register

• Mobile phone records

• Credit record (Note: This is a "soft check" and does not affect your credit score).

The 1account system is designed to carry out the fewest checks necessary. In the vast majority of cases, verification is instant, and your Vapes4L order will be processed and shipped without delay.

What do I need to do?

Once you have placed your order, a secure pop-up window will appear on the order confirmation page. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the one-time verification.

What information do you need?

To verify your age accurately, we require the following when you place your order:

• Full Name

• Current Address: The billing address you provide must be your current home address.

• Mobile Phone Number: Please ensure this is entered correctly.
